Oh haha i had no idea about these badass birds. Ok had tried that in the ini file from 40 default i made them 60 still not much difference i guess i should make it 100.
All you said nice tips for online and just theories none works on single player. I believe in single player is a completely random factor. Just animals spawns when you expect them less. No pattern. No "drinking water" no searching for food in the fields during the night nothing.
I almost always find wolves when I climb up those for some reason. And it sucks when you don't have a ranged weapon for whatever reason and are effectively treed by a pack of wolves. >< Also, if you make the wolf mask and wear it in a car the ears poke through the top of the vehicle making it look like it has ears :P

hard to see, but that was as close as I could get.
So if people are reporting that they see animals more frequently around hunting stands, it's likely that there is a spawn point nearby with hunting stand inside the radius.
