random death in the trenches area

So I was in C3 running up from the hunting camp to the trenches area, full stats on everything, I climb down from one of the hunting towers, start eating a mushroom and randomly die, from 100% to 0% without any reason.

I would like to understand what caused this to understand whether it will continue happening or is preventable on my end.

Is it possible to check cause of death, or roll back a game? If there is a "random death" bug I think that might be just a little tooo brutal ;)

dude that tell us nothing...was it single player multiplayer pve pvp you probably did not see your stats correctly or if a pvp server you got shot

Hey there OP, not sure what the cause of your death is, if it was from natural causes there is not really a chance to check if it was because someone else shot it, well we don't reveal that information. For the rollback we are not doing rollbacks for random deaths of players, if you are playing a single player on another hand, you can do rollback manually by going into C:\Users\(username)\AppData\Local\SCUM\Saved\SaveFiles and switching the last SCUM_2022154255.dbbackup file into SCUM.db

He died from a bug. If you read the bug forum you would already know why.
OP did you use eat all and was it the gigantic mushroom?

Enforcer, thats the issue. For the other replies, it was single player and what I did matches exactly with that Enforcer said. I found the big white mushroom, wanted to eat all and died.

You have to see how much your stomach can take. Such a giant mushroom doesn't fit in one piece and will then inevitably become a problem.

That isn't a bug, you ate a gigantic mushroom that filled your stomache past 120% and ruptured it, which kills you immediately.

Yeah, the giant mushroom can't be 'eaten all' or else you die from ruptured stomach.
When that happens you get a message from the character telling you they're stuffed and then that they can't eat more food. When the stomach gets past 100%, you have to induce a vomit to empty it as fast as possible.

Other than that you could've taken too much poisonous mushroom.

They already said they pressed Eat All on the Gigantic Puffball, that kills.

Also you are fine to 119%, when it hits 120% you die immediately.

Yeah but it instakills you which is a bug. It doesn't slowly go to 100% like with every other food item.

Anything you eat and you get to or over 120% will kill you instantly.

Yes if you are stupid enough to KEEP EATING.
With the puffball you instaeat the whole thing without the progress circle showing.
You normally munch the food going up gradually from 0 to 100. With the puffball you go 0 to 100 in a click.
