Treating injuries...

Advanced medical now takes 2 rags to heal wound. Rag strips can no longer be used. I have never once found antiseptic while looting... infected after 1 hit from puppet giving me 4 C1 injuries all with infection symbol. Insane pricing on antibiotics etc... FPS dropped... a game ruining patch for me...sigh Am I suppose to spend hours trying to find soap?? wtf More medical gear needs to spawn... not going to play until next patch or fix.

I think some alcohol works to disinfect rags, but haven't tried it.
I got antiseptic in medical container (white box on walls you need a crowbar for) and all manner of bandages, compresses and tourniquets in bunkers (dont need to disinfect those).

I do think the nerf to medical skill is over the top. I had to use two turniquets to heal a c4 with advanced skill. That just doesn't make sense at all.

Does a single drop the C4 to a C1 ?
I seen a vid of someone using 2 for a C4 and it looked like 1 almost filled the bar

About to say hell with it for a week or so . See what happens

It's all or nothing. Yes it fills up the bar almost all the way but that still means two treatments that used to be one.

You don't even need to treat a C1 wound, it heals itself. If there is an infection it depends on what caused the C1 injury, you can take care of the infection with antibiotics or with alcohol of any kind. As for the soap, you should get a soap + some alcohol per loot run of some small village.

You are right and i didn't heal them all but i did get 3 c1 infections... spent the next hour or more looking for anything to help...nope! I'm trying to get friends to play with me and this isn't helping convince anyone...

None of my team mates want to do this boring stuff to survive, it no longer becomes a good part of the game just a chore and extremely jarring to what little gameplay there is. Create some first aid kits with everything we need to treat a wound and infection or create more spawn locations for all we need and don't make it a rarity. This is just utterly punishing for a new player and simply annoying for players who have a lot, we don't feel like we are playing with a strong character but a feeble delicate petal of a human.

From what i can recall , opening my cars ( lost car due to a restart ) inventory .

I don't mind the infections, its a nice addition, but finding the stuff to treat them is insane. We are running 3.5x loot on our server, I did a run thru EVERY building in C3 town and didn't find a single antibiotic or Isopropyl alcohol, I'd hate to try on official settings and the trader prices for this stuff is just stupid. If your gonna put this stuff in, at least give us a reasonable means to take care of it.

You don't need isopropyl alcohol, you can use Absinthe (and other booze too?) to disinfect wounds and make sterile bandages. I find a lot of Absinthe anywhere i go.

Similar to me. I open inventory and the frames drop. They stay dropped until I walk away from the area, then return to normal.

For me right now, it is one chest in the main entry of this house. Must be something about the number of items in the chest and just that spot rendering in that spot. Also, if I drop a backpack full of stuff in this particular chest and then mouse over it, the "full container" sound loop continues on and on, even after exiting inventory.

It's still work in progress, but you can disinfect with alcohol sources as well. We're still altering the feature itself.
