Sailing Boat "sail angle problem"

hi as a real sailor i spend a lot of time sailing with the new boat (almost all the time xd )it 's really cool but the sail really need more angle to cap against the wind it only cap at something like 20 degree max against the wind so it's very frustrating it shoold cap at least at 45 degree with good speed and could go to 60 degree with minimum speed . Right now it s really not enough it take a while to travel . against the wind it take 45 minutes zigzaging to do for ex z3 to z4 . Yesterday it took me 4 hours to go to the closest outpost and come back when i can do it in 15 minutes by motorboat. Please buff the sail give it more angle thx !

I'm pretty sure the average prisoner doesn't know that so in the game it would be normal to make a sail like that. But I would like to see them add an actual sail ⛵️ boat

yeah this boat is really primitive it come from the stone age xd i hope we will sea a modern sailing boat or this one but "modular" with the possibility to mount a normal modern triangular sail... yeah dream update for the boat xd

_ i noticed also a bug in big wave if you are not on a seat when the biggest waves clip trough the boat you enter in swim mode above your boat and then you pass trough the boat ending in the water with the sharks or at the bottom of the ocean if you are heavy.

_ same if you get disconnected (fatal crash, server restart, update droping) you don't respawn on the boat but in the water near the boat so if you are too heavy bye the stuff , and if you die bye the boat also with all your stuff in it ;/

Hey there, the sail boat is an improvised one made out of scrap and salvage so it makes sense it is not optimal. For the actual sailboats that is something we might discuss in the future.

Hope we can add improvised engine and ship propeller on the big raft before a actual sailboat comes out.
