Where to find 5m Rope?

Where can I find 5m rope? I'm talking about the rope that has 50/50 uses, not tree bark rope or improvised rope. I'm playing on a server that has missions, and one mission is to find 5 50/50 ropes. I have only found one so far in a bunker. I have been looking everywhere all over the map. They have to spawn specifically somewhere?

Hey :),

Above all, I had good finds in areas that have an industrial touch. There are a lot of opportunities for this in the torpedo factory and thus you have a high chance of finding one. But bunkers can also lose their ropes.

Make sure you stay in industrial areas, there are usually many opportunities for the said loot and of course it also depends on the RNG. :)

Thank you for this, I will definitely check out the torpedo factory. I know they gotta spawn somewhere!

Is there a specific area in the factory they spawn, or do I just have to run around and check everything?

You should check everything, this will always increase the chance of good things anyways. :)

Check the wrapped cargo box they are where most miscellaneous items spawn, also the triple warehouse cardboard boxes, also there's a row of garages that's also a popular location. Basically anything that's not a green box may have it, also they spawn in waves, sometimes if you see 9MM spawn it's likely going to have 9MM pistol around, this becomes more apparent on high loot servers.

Can't buy it from the trader cause it's not offered at trader. Admins must have turned it off to make it harder. I've been looting the torpedo factory for days and still haven't seen a single rope.

Expand your radius. :) When one locations did not offer what you are needing, search in other areas aswell. From the torpedo Factory to the Trainyard for example, from there on across the river following the train tracks (until you reach the Bridgeinto the harbour next to a town). So there are a lot of possible ways. Plan your way, loot a location and if there was nothing of the needed move on to the next. :)

I find them in paper boxes inside factory quite often, it's those bright vanilla ones that has like 5-6 in a stack. I like those because they only take one space and has 50/50 instead of 10/10 like wire 10m

Yep. And in the wooden crates down on the main floor, as well. Factory is good for a lot of different things, it's right up near the top of my loot table, at least in the first half of a char's life, when you're still gearing up.
