Lockers in police station unpick-able

Am I the only one who is having this problem? I am playing in single player mode right now, I have had this problem a long time back with one of the lockers in the loot drop not opening. This time I can't even bust the locks with a crowbar, my downloads showed an update yesterday (April 6). I have also had to re-validate my game files twice in the past three days. What gives?

Just played single player mode. Went to 5 different police stations, everything was fine. But the re-validation issue i can confirm. The game seems to be in its worse state at the moment, regading performance and stability, but it's Early Access so you have to expect times like this.
Scum will be great when the full release comes, the potential is there.

Do you mean that you pick them (or crowbar them) and they still say locked even when you succeed? Has it just happened in one play session, or across several? I just spent a couple hours in single player, but didn't have the issue.

Hey there OP, please make sure that you have everything required for lockpicking when you are trying to lockpick the lockers, you will need a screwdriver and lockpicks, you can craft lockpicks from bobby pins as well. If you are going for player made locks you will also need to have fame points.

Ok, I guess I didn't write this the correct way. I have every thing on hand to pick the lock with, when looking at the cases all it says is "locked". I had picked up a few safety pins and turned those into lockpicks, and a box of pins in stand by. Moved from the two that are in the hallway by the restroom over to the ones in the office, thinking that it is just a fluke, again a no go. The ones up stairs are the same way. xKICKx, I stated I am in single player. When I couldn't pick the locks I spawned in a crowbar to see if it would be the same thing, and it was.

Did you just try to open the lock with F or did you try holding F as well? Is that option greyed out?

Did you play around with zones in admin settings? Please check if the world lockpicking is blocked. That sounds like it could be a cause.

Ok you had safety pins that were turned into lockpicks, but did you have a screwdriver in your hand?

Yes I have played around with the world zones, I use the same settings for all of my characters. I haven't changed anything that would impact lockpicking. The night before I was able to get any lock I came across to pop when I was picking them, that includes all of the lockers in Samobor police station (even with all of the lag.) And when I said that the crowbar was the same, I mean I could not force the lock as usual. For those asking, I know how to pick locks in this game, I've played FO3, FONV, FO4, Skyrim, Dying Light and all of those games have the same type of mechanic for lockpicking. I'll jump back in game and see if it shows the same thing, and come back to update this with what I find.

For me there was no update yesterday there was a development update on the 5th which is just news all lock picking in sp and in multiplayer works also check your settings maybe somehow it switched to lock picking turned off thats the only thing I know off that prevents lockpicking and crowbar usage on lockers

On the two characters I have created in the past two days, both are showing the same thing when it comes to lockers, with lockpicks, screwdriver, and crowbar in my inventory, I am still getting the message in front of the lockers that says "locked". The night before last I was able to pick or force any lock I came across, now nothing.

You should check your settings in the zones again to be on the safe side and, if necessary, temporarily deactivate the zones to see whether the error can be found here.

That did the trick. I don't know how it got changed, I don't ever mess with that setting.

I have still the bug, tried everything. Its only at the police stations where it not works..
