trouble crafting

Hello, i'm a new player of scum and i love the game, but i have au probleme with crafting some item. For some reason i can't craft a metal axe or a bow, but i have every thing for it, level of crafting, materials and even the botton "craft" is in orange but it don't want to craft the item.

If you have any idea why it doen't work because of a thing i miss read or if it's a bug please tell me, thank you.

Don't let the game choose which of the materials to use. Choose them yourself by highlighting them (Red square). The game will see everything in your inventory and things that are in the vicinity and choose the material it thinks is the best (sometimes that's not always correct).

Thanks, but i already did that, i even use other type of material but it's still don't work.

try grabbing a picture of your inventory and of your crafting menu and posting it here so we can see it might be grabbing something without the required number of uses try clicking on everything in your inventory so it grabs the right amount

Also make sure of your Eng & Dex skill levels they may keep you from crafting certain items.

well i have the basic crafting ability

there's an old bug, when you have not enough rope in a stack, it refuses to craft, but shows orange button.
just open the inventory, left click on all items required for crafting to mark it red, then right click on any of them and choose crafting. Will work. Make sure you choose 10/10 rope.

Before i remember u can like combine 7/10 rope with another 3/10 manually by clickign them to craft something but now i cant even select other crafting stuff so u gotto find that 10/10 only

really doubt it, as there always was a problem with gunpowder leftovers that couldnt be used

real rope you have to hopefully buy at the trader or find it in loot.

not sure what the axe takes but im gonna guess it takes real rope too

just looked:
2nd bow really needs normal rope or wire (that's much easier to find).
and for the axe any rope will do.
The man said, the button is orange - that means, he have the type that is needed.

I solve my probleme, it appear that i had cloth rope with 8/10 but 3 other 10/10 and 3 bark one but for some reason the game want to take only the 8/10 rope even when i was chosing the bark rope.
