best weapon to use for bunkers to save ammo

i spend all my cash on ammo sometimes not able to afford it whats a good weapon to combat this?

Personally I like to use my Bayonet in bunkers. Now that you can buy M1 clips instead of having to get real lucky on finding them, the M1 is great in bunkers. Bayonet Puppets and if you run into other scum bags the M1 is still good and quiet deadly.

Bow is always an option, arrows are cheaply crafted.

Crossbow is good as long as your stealthy and take on puppets one at a time from range.

Spears are good if you can alert multiple puppets to chase you and then lock yourself in a closet with a window. You can spear the puppets in the face through the window.

If you want to conserve your ammo it's definitely a bow and bayonet combo that you need to use. You can get arrows quite easily by crafting them.

9mm pistol or MP5 is 1 option, you always seem to find 9mm bullets almost everywhere.

Compond bow is severly OP but icq not so sure if its the way to go

+1 for M9, comound bow.

I'll add machete (common to find and require less space than katana), bushman knife (nerfed but still efficient) and crossbow.

I usually don't bring more than 1 ranged and 1 meele weapon + 1 handgun.

Works with all bayonet rifles. Especially if you know that you have 2 attacks with a bayonet. (Butt hit and bayonet attack. Shift+click mouse wheel = butt hit) This gives you a pretty good attack power with a bayonet and can prevent you from being stunned.

Yea bayonet is one of the best options to clear out the bunker silently. It is powerful and can kill most of the puppets in 1 hit.
