There hasn't been a crosshair for the third person for a long time.
This gave too many advantages over players playing in first person and has been removed.
Yup. We can only hope for mods to fix this omission, for post-release play.
It'd be great to have accurate (third person) aiming and reticles back, at least as an option for PvE.
Removing the reticle really just screws over PvE players and honest PvP players. Dishonest PvP players will just tape something to the middle of their screen.
Asking because imo the best way to play a survival game is without any hud elements whatsoever. :D

PVP players will just turn on the monitor's built in crosshair. Same way people crank the gamma all the way up at night.
How is this even helpful in a tiny bit.... SMH
There are so many bs comments in this thread its hard to even understand the complete crazy presented here.
+1 This definitely needs to be changed.
you could at least enable the 3rd person aiming as a server option.
Since you are not aiming with bows that don't have sight it's not switching the view for them either.
