And the problem is , if one is using it,, we all must.
So as a survival game, that element is completely gone
Why is so? "If everyone else jumped off a bridge, would you?" The map is just a "helper" or a tool, not something that gives you all the loot, food, vehicles, fame and glory. So you are free to use or not, it is not the end of the world.
I agree that a vehicle help in your survivability but they are rare, even if you know their spawn points (you will eventually find one, I got one in the forth town I visited), but it also have a big CON....with one you are noisy, a bigger target and you are limited by gas....and gas stations spawn bomb puppets so forget about going melee and jerry cans are like a unicorn. xD
PS: it's a great map, kudos to the author. Need more great stuff like that.
Thats what you dont understand, knowing every spawn point means you will have to check random garages the same because pretty much every single one of them is a spawn point.
Take a look at the car spawn map yourself, you will notice that the entire map is coverd by them, knowing where cars can spawn is literally the most useless information in this entire game because its everywhere in the map.
Rule of thumb:
IF THERE IS A ROAD LEADING TO IT AND GARAGES AND CIVILIZTION, A CAR CAN SPAWN THERE.
Now you know the cheat, now you have the knowledge those filthy google users have. Use this new power well.
Im a solo player and often when updates appear on games like this, its frustrating to have to travel to a location to find something on a map this large. It is what it is i suppose - its still a wip though so.
Yeah, It was a pointless post and just a rant. There was no request made by me to do anything, Of course its out of devs hands. The post was more for the sake of conversation, and yes, for me to express my disappointment. The one and only thing I sort of asked or hoped was that n game map would be removed (which we all know was coming) and when a map is found it has no dot on it, rather a zoom function to see town names and need to check the yellow signs to find what town you're in.
I dont expect that, I guess it was a suggestion to deal with the 3rd party tool slightly.
The devs also have a good point that its not gauranteed cars will be at the locations of course. Tho there will be no more people opening and checking every single garage, they can navigate a little faster.
At the end of the day, there are many ways a player or squad can still obtain a vehicle during any point in the game. I understand it. Its not a huge deal, but just felt slightly disappointed. I'm sure if the devs intended us to all know that info, without needing to play and learn the surroundings, they would have included it in the in-game map.
I'll keep my posts specifically as bug reports or suggestions only from now on, rather that opinions.
hehee yeeeah, of course there are shortcuts but they are not as fun as the other longer way called "gameplay" 😉🤙
if you want to find a car and you can't do it on the official servers, it's a possible problem with the stackers, try a private server with rules and an active administrator to see what it does
..maybe for example NKX LEGACY if you are ready for a little bit hardcore 😜✌️
I'm eagerly waiting for this to happen. People actually need to use landmarks for navigating! Or figure out the direction by the sun position? But it would also be fun to be able to loot maps, like for one sector, or possibly draw your own and add markings .. or one of those foldable really big "travel guide" maps that my dad used to have in his car.
