solo player / boat
Anyone have a strategy for a solo player who wants to keep a boat? Especially how do you keep a motor boat from being stolen?

A car you can hide or build a base around. A boat, not so much...

No way, unless you could build just a littlebit into the water where you then could make a "carage" for a boat.

I don't have any advanced tactics to share with you, but I can confirm that we will be adding some extra base building elements into the game to let you safekeep your boats. No ETA, but it's in the works.

I found a little cove that is some what decently hidden that has a boat house. I've built my base close by for pretty much the same reason.

If it is possible to place foundations and a big gate door in shallow water, I might have an idea... I will test it ASAP in local Ave will let you know. 😉

And even if the boat is a littlebit dragging the bottom, you could just push it in/out, tell us what you figured.

You can build kind of garage near the water on the beach and than just use "push" function to get the boat inside and out. It's working.

I have to build one, create a garage and place 3-4 mines around it. It should work. :D

So far, what I've seen is that you can push the boat a little bit on the shore where you can eventually build some palizades to protect it.
OR you can build foundations as far as you can in the water and then make some sort of small harbor where you can anchor your boat pushing it on the shore.

It would be incredibly good if we could build some palizades in the water... It'd be really good!

Boat trailer for the cars so we could just move it to our bases.
