workbench despawn?

Does a workbench despawn? Mine disappeared after 2 days

Inside a house
Inside a flag area

Couple things I noticed about the bench. It deteriorates fast and looses lots of health if you use it. It can be repaired by toolbox but doesn't repair with flag similar to how chests work. It will despawn fast if you don't repair it regularly and constantly while in use.

For the use of workbench, you can see that when you repair melee weapons it will get fixed by 5% for every time you repair it and 5% will be deduced from the workbench.

As the others said, it deteriorate as you use it, and it can break up quite fast. I lost a couple workbenches due to that. Try to repair it every time you use and keep an eye on its health
