it should be every server owners choise to mod/edit that way
Could be an interesting event format.
:D
Its broken. i can play half day and have full military gear.
Prob 2 is that i have noticed that sveral serves have big clans, and its fine, but you should have the option to play on a non squad server or maximum 2-3 ppl squad.
prob 3 its very easy to get food.
I tought it was a survival game with pvp element
And forget all this nonsense. I mean sure, any private server could enact a "Countdown to Armageddon, ALL SUPPLIES/RESOURCES FINITE.
And advertise a biggeer and bigger conflict as the server gets close to its restart date. Until on that date, almost everyone is dead and the last 30 or so people are constantly in a shooting war for unlooted cabinets.
But none of this matters or is relevant until players are subject to permadeath and when not even being famous enough means you can be resurrected after a bullet to the head still knowing everything you ever knew.
OH DEVS, I HAD ANOTHER IDEA.
What if you reset ONE stat for every ONE death. And have that stat be chosen at random from all stats with above minimum number X. ? (or perhaps the last skill actively 'checked' by rngesus on your character.
That way the crybabies who know nothing of true satisfaction aren't too overwhelmed and pearl clutchy but at the same time death becomes an event to be avoided at all costs.
A total reset on death means the progression system is meaningless and everyone simply moves to a "best-build-for-task" style of play, where they set up their initial character with a preferred build knowing it won't progress much. At this point death is again meaningless and the game has turned into a shooter.
