White spots on screen

i have been Sailing for about 10 hours real time without heading to land, and now i have 3 white spots on my screen like sun shafts, but no matter where i look they never move, is this normal? is it eye damage or is that not a thing?
They are only in SCUM, not other games etc so not a burn-in or screen damage

the dots in the upper section of the screen, the lower ones are clouds lol

White alien orbs. Very common world wide (including Croatia).
Just be happy they didn't "probe" you.

i got offline shortly after the post as the server was acting strange for all of us since the update. All vehicle related glitches. but i''ll jump back on now and have a look.

EDIT-

They are still there. might sail home and suicide and see if that does anything lol

If you mean that they are in the same spot on your monitor even if you turn around and look at something besides the sky it may be the monitor.

What a troll...... i just checked my wifes game and she has the same spots LOL coulda just said it was normal haha.

i was paranoid. i just put in a 3080Ti and an acer predator x34GS ultrawide screen and thought something was wrong

Me and my squad mates also see these spots. They're annoying sometimes. Looks like a spot on my monitor is bad, but it's definitely the game. They look like camera flare but they don't move.

Sorry to all those that lose their minds over necros, but I've found a solution to this very persistent bug, so this may help someone.

Deleting your configs and restarting the game will do nothing, only thing that works is turning chromatic aberration off and on again in graphics settings.
