No, you make up a marinade, slice up 2 kgs of meat and let it soak for 2 days. Hang it in a hydroponic tent with a 100watt bulb and blow a fan on it. After 2 to 3 days it should be ready to eat.

Pretty Simple German Meal:

potato dumplings
Kassler ( it is a Variant of Pig but way less with Fat)
Cook a White Sauce and fill cream horseradish in it. Then cook it a bit.

It is very quick made but delicious :D

I grew up in South Africa...1982 until 2009. I have travelled quite a bit and have been to many countries tasting the food but biltong and borewors (South African sausage. (dried out it is called droewors). are my favourites for sure. My girlfriend (of 18 years plus) cooks really well. We have a cafe and she runs it. Man she can cook good. Luckily we are not fat ,except my beer belly, hahaha.

When I dont make my own i get it from here...search for limpopo biltong uk. I have eaten ostrich, kudu, springbok, wildebees and elephant biltong. Elephant biltong is made from elephants that are culled at the Kruger National Park in South Africa.

Not exactly fried potatoes but i made some Potatos with rosemary yesterday :D My father liked cooking a lot of. So i learned from him and his Grandfather how to cook proper and also that experimenting with it leads to great new receipes at all. I am very glad that i learned it since i met many other girls, that did not even can cook spaghetti ~_~

Hmm, there are severeal in Germany, depending where you Life. One that is consumed a lot of would be Cabbage roll i think. It is a very Tasty food and frequently eaten by people all around me. I always got some in my Kitchen just for the Case, im hungry and have nothing in my appartment.

that differs a lot.. In Schleswig Holstein fish is more common then other heavy weight meals like the two mentioned above. Fishburger for example. If you Visit Hamburg, it is a must have to buy one ^^. Also Crabs from Nordsee are frequently eaten by many. (Crabs are a Cultural thing in Schleswig holstein. The Friesland was and is known for theyr special Boats that drive out, catch the Crabs and cook them instantly on board.
