Questioning the Ghillie suit...

Anyways why is it that you can have a shirt on + tactical sweater + camouflage jacket + raincoat + Ballistic vest + ghillie top on. BUT with the ghillie bottoms.. oh the dear old bottoms replaces the pants you have and have LESS space than a tactical pants.. Should the pants not have the same amount space available as the tactical ones? I mean it's supposed to be a tactical pants just with added camo on..

+1 Totally agree. Ghillie bottoms are silly in that respect. No reason they can't be hung over the top of your normal pants, which is how it works in the real world (or is it usually just one whole ghillie body suit that covers you whole form?). Anyway, Doesn't seem right, and it penalizes you for wearing them. Which is why i usually don't.

Right now I am only wearing the top half and the gun camo and not the bottom part at all. From the real life ghillie suits I have seen you get different bottom types, one is where it puts on like a belt and have clips at the bottom to clip on your boots, some have straps, some are a like chaps.. you know those cowboy type pants looking things. and some are whole pants.
I just want the slots/inventory space to be the same as the tactical pants and by the looks of it it ain't me alone.

The main issue with it at the moment is that because of the high polygon count, it appears basically black in any kind of light shadow or less than bright daylight conditions.

Why cant we craft a ghillie suit...the place is full of items for it.

You will be able to craft an improvised ghillie suit someday ( no ETA ). The ghillie suit that's already in the game offers no inventory space for balancing reasons, to cite our game designer " it's for balancing, and there is no point in having inventory space on that kind of gear since that's not the point of it ... " .

If there is not point in having inventory space for it then it should not be replacing the pants just like how the top doesn't replace anything when wearing it because right now I am only using the top and not the bottom part and it does not look too good being half dressed but I understand it's not a "priority to be fixed" right now.

Then why didn't your designer apply that same logic to both pieces, and have both of them just have no storage space but fit over the top of your normal clothing? The ghillie bottom is the illogical piece of this pie, replacing your pants but only giving you half of the regular pants storage room. The top doesn't do this, and neither should the bottom.

I'm assuming most of you are keyboard warriors and have never worn any type of true camo a day in your lives, the point of it is to conceal yourself not to carry a bunch of gear. Stop whining at the devs and adapt your game play.

Yeah I'm sure you're right. No RL snipers are wearing camo cargo pants under their ghillie I'm sure....i mean why would they right?
