Significant FPS drops

Hi

Just checking if anyone else is experiencing this issue. At random times my FPS will drop from 55-60FPS down to 6FPS, last for about 30sec - 1min and then jumps back up.

I have checked task manager to see if I can see anything that might be causing this, and all is stable, nothing spikes. I know others on our have experienced the same issue.

some kind of random rendering spasm, the frametime on RTSS gets stuck at 70ms for about 15+ seconds. Seems to happen when going from inside to outside with heavy scenery to render.

That happens to me too. before the update i had more than 100 fps in epic graphics, and now i always have less than 50 fps. :(

For me the game runs much better after the update. DX12, 4k max settings on a 5 year old rig and i can run around the city spinning like an ice skating queen with stable FPS.

I noticed that the longer the game runs the more frequent it will run into some stuttering that keeps getting worse. Restarting helps here but it doesnt seem to be a structural problem and should be fixable once the cause is identified.

Yeah, overall FPS in the game decreased for me by at least 25%, with 0.5. And the game will run ok for an hour or so, then start getting horrid FPS drops down to 5-15 for long periods of time. Only way to make it stop, is to ALT-TAB out and back again. This usually only fixes it for a short time though, before it's slowing way down again.

I can't play anymore at all. The game has become so slow i can't even type in the chat in realtime, let alone running or killing a puppet... totally useless.
I got so frustrated i just ordered a new gaming-PC.

Same. I was running on full graphic setting before the 0.5 update with no frame issues. Then I play for about an hour and I start haemorrhaging frames by the minute, even going down as far as 2 frames a second after lowering all setting to high.

It's a damn shame as I was looking forwards to getting back into the game with some friends, now they're all playing and I can barely do anything.

Also, don't forget when you do/start lockpicking, it also massively drops down to 5-10 fps, really annoying.

Having same issue. No matter what area I'm in, was real smooth before 0.5, glad I'm not the only one lol.

Thank you for your feedback ! We will do our best to iron this out as soon as possible. In the meantime, it would help a lot if you guys could share your PC specs with us, the most important part being - is your game installed on an SDD or a HDD and what graphic settings your are playing on ?
