That's the one thing I would like in this game for guns, conversion kits. Also, no auto pistols, though impractical, would still be cool to have.
Why do you hate shotguns in SCUM? I hate the way they've screwed them up, by making them jam up and fail to pump for no good reason a high percentage of the time, but when they worked properly, i love them.
Now a shotgun is good for shooting a noob, and if he suddenly has a bulletproof vest, he won't even feel this shot, and I think it's wrong.
Shotguns in the game now have three types of cartridges to choose from, but only a bullet is effective, but it is difficult for it to hit.
We love shotguns precisely for the ability to shoot shot or grapeshot, but it is almost useless now.
I just personally find them bad in pvp situations. If you know your opponent has a shotgun, all you need to do is zig zag and he will never hit you. I think in all my hours in this game, I've been killed by a shotgun twice.
They're ok if you can hit a static target, but as soon as it moves side to side... neh. Useless. This also has something to do with the coding, or its performance - because as soon as something is moving quickly from side to side, everything feels very "unresponsive".
If we say you have a shotgun but no armor, and I have any melee weapon, then most likely you are a corpse, as I can easily reach you, running in different directions and only luck can save you.
It is for this reason that I am asking the developers to add semi-automatic shotguns.
2 days ago I had two funny situations, in the first case I was attacked by a man with a shotgun, and I only had a stone ax, guess who was the winner?)
The second case was even more revealing, I attacked a man with only an M9 pistol and our favorite Bushman knife, but he was not alone, but with his friend, it was a small detachment. My opponents were armed with shotguns, I killed one with a pistol, the other I could only injure, and my pistol was already empty.
Then I just took a knife and, running in different directions, I was able to reach my opponent and killed him with two blows!)
