Shoe degradation
So in real life ask yourself how long you've had yours, and play this game and see how they last. My shoes don't last for very long and it's kinda absurd. I've got boots that have lasted me years IRL and in this game they don't last long at all. Where can i find a cobbler at, because this is turning into the cobbler simulator.

+1, Too fast degradation. It should be slowed down at least x1.5-2 times.

+1 The Imelda Marcos simulator. I am going to have many wardrobes filled with shoes.

I also noticed that in addition to my food rotting faster now my clothing rots while I am wearing it faster too. Even stored items have increased in degredation. My guy is wearing every single clothing item slot he has and is just barely staving off hypothermia as well. Most of my clothing have 2 or above heat provision since while I am not in the snow area I am within a sector away from it. Before new update I was sweating in my base camp, now I am freezing in the same spot. Air drops still only dropping in 0 sectors? Did not see anythinh in the update notes? So do these rain collectors remain if you log out or do you have to pick them all up and put them into yet another storage box? No point in crafting items for the Scum Gods to get to enjoy while I am not around. Resources thrown away now is really really stupid. Good thing I did not log in and go to chugging beers to kill thirst again as I just noticed that drunkenness is now back again as well.

+1 Shoe degradation is definitely too high. Just walking around my little farm, building stuff here and there my shoes lost over 20% durability. That has nothing to do with realism.

I love that the devs try and keep gritty harshness and realism in mind with this game, but with stuff like this it's just too much. I have a pair of hiking shoes with which I did 2 hiking tracks 1000km each. They are still in almost perfect condition.

Please, devs, in the future add settings so we can adjust the decay rate for items. Possibly even item groups (food, clothes, weapons, etc.).

Love the update otherwise! Great job again!

yea, i have motorcycle boots and in no time they are weared out.
I go looting just 1 small village with some metal and fruit, come home to see my boots are totally destoyed.
They were 100%, now i only can repair them to 50%

Not really liking this.
There was totally no need to do this other then fixing the other things players have a real issue with.

It is def too high - and considering they seem to wear out when just standing around as well - my motorcycle boots went from ~90% to ~65% just doing some base chores yesterday (repair, torch fuel, etc) - like what the hell are these boots made of to degrade that fast?

Hey Dawg, I heard you like boots so I gave you slots inside boots to place another boots, so you can stack boots in boots.

Thanks for advice, cap...

The wear rate is too high imo. Could we get a multiplier to tweak it to what we think it should be?
