Scissors or knives for clothes? Just give it a try and see the results. You should Try out what tool have the best effect but it can make a difference.
If a Arrow is Stuck in a Puppet or opponent, kick against it to turn it around. This may take a while but after doing so, you can easyly get your Arrow back.
At the moment no matter what tool you use to cut up meat the end result will always be the same. :)
I watched the old video that use a cleaver on animal body part. I did and it yield the same as cutting it with axe.
Like can we default to non-equiped items if they are available? That would be pretty nice.
Nasty coincidence, but it really throws me away every time. I ought to maybe do less at once. xD
+1
This can’t be that difficult or time consuming to program. Assign each bladed device a cutting index.
Scissors = 1
Knives = 2
.
.
Axes, swords = 5
Etc.
Cutting up clothing for rags? Check inventory for items in order of index.
Same with lockpicking. Opening a 10 second server lock?
Check inventory for and use in this order:
1. Crafted lock pick
2. Regular
3. Advanced
It would also be cool to see the cooking skill tie into that as well. Well trained chefs are 100% on butchering animals.
In any case, for the OP trying to recover his arrows, have you tried kicking the puppets corpses over? Usualy with a stuck arrow or bolt, if you kick the puppet around you ammo will appear in vicinity and you'll be able to recover it. I find it faster to kick them around than to cut them to pieces each time.
Also, not sure if I'm the only one in this situation but, I'd be using bows alot more if it didnt mess with your field of view everytime you nock an arrow. I set my field of view to what I like in 3rd person; Im okay with it zooming in with Right-mouse-button as i'm about to take the shot, but forcing me to an in-between different FOV just for having an arrow on the bow is annoying!
Like trying walk over them? I dont know how to
Empty your hands and attempt to hit them. Since they are on the ground the game will default to kicking them. It's hit or miss, but it works.
Or you could just take the item you want to use in your hands and it will automatically use them.
