I want to play on a server but it's an old version, how can i downgrade my game ?

I'm guessing it's private server? Can you give us any more details?

The only way I could think of is to copy the game folder from someone who still has the old version and disable automatic updates in Steam. Yet, I recommend not doing so since it could cause more trouble than it actually solves. Also, I'm not sure if some small print in some EULA prohibits these things or if it will even work.

There would be another way using Steam's depot download but that won't work with SCUM since there aren't any "end user" packages published other than the current.

Anyway, I don't think this is making any sense. As far as I can tell, there is currently only one server in the list that runs on an older version which might not even be correct info. Said server is empty, guess why. Note, that rolling back to that version will prevent you from being able to connec to any other server without going back to the current build number, not speaking of the chance to even find that version somewhere.

May I ask why you want to do this?

I want to downgrade because i'm looking for a server with hordes of zombies, and this one seems to be a horde server, that's why

As far as i know there is no way to patch your Game on a specific Version.

I didnt ask for it,I guessed the server he want to join is a pirated one since its not up to date

I didn't mean you. Also, there is at least one server in the client's server browser that runs on an older version.
