Lock Picking gun cabinets etc
As if life is not hard enough already in SCUM. Now we have to lockpick EVERY gun safe. Too much..Maybe half? Maybe ones with higher tier loot? Not all of them. This has tipped the game over the edge for A LOT of players. Fun factor ZERO.

i agree. i find it hard enough to sneak into the bunkers now too with robots.

I think empty lockers should not be locked all the time. I have just looted at the airfield and every single locker on the whole airfield was empty.

Seriously.

Maybe at least a couple rounds of ammo would be nice or don´t lock them all when they are empty anyway.

To be fair the gun cabinets are easy really, 10 seconds on a rusty lock can be picked by anyone. The secret to getting into most bunkers is assessing the easiest route using bushes as cover, watch the mechs and time their walking pattern. If you aggro them their pattern changes to a quicker one.

my main loot location is the naval base.... there´s no single locker locked. then passing by a wwII bunker, all the crap is locked away... but im sure they will "fix" it very soon. then im going to have a long stop playing this.

Are you sure?

My main loot location is the naval base as well and underground near the submarine there are lots of locked weapon lockers while weapon lockers in WW2 bunkers are never locked at least not in my sp as well as the server I´m currently playing on.

There's also the security room in the office building on the west side along the docks.

Keep in mind there's still a lot more balancing to come. The loot in the lockers may get adjusted. As they are now they're really only worth doing if you're just gearing up (there are some exceptions). And as already mentioned, the locks on them are very easy. Once I'm set with gear I generally just ignore them.

Right, I forgot about that one and I agree it´s not really that worth it. Most of these weapon lockers are empty anyway.

Hard? What's the loot parameter on the server you play on? How hard to the mechs and puppets hit? HARD.XD

If you have trouble finding mechs out: Go to main menu, Strg + d , single player, new game, just click through the char screen... now you can fly around as a drone and take all your time watchign the mechs with the best view and fining a path...

For me it doesn't make sense to lock empty lockers and it doesn't make sense to leave full lockers unlocked. Let the RNG populate the lockers and only lock the ones that have something in them. Nothing worse than picking a lock for nothing to be there, a locked locker should indicate the presence of loot.

It's something they're working on. It's about respawning timer.
IMO only lockers with loot should be locked.

Life is hard? Only presence of other players make it hard...the game itself (SP) is so easy (apart from killbox and some bunkers).

+1 to lockpicking...in future there will be a way to open them with hammers, crowbar, etc.
So be patient.

Well then you would only attempt to open the lockers with locks. The point is to make weapons scarce not give you some kind of sorting system for finding loot.
