Removing chest dragging sounds like a horrible idea. One of the main weakpoints of the game is that it already starts feeling like a RSI inducing logistics simulator, where moving ♥♥♥♥ around takes far longer than it should. Chest dragging is one of the few features that keeps the game bearable.
If its not meant to be like that however at least give us warning to empty the things first :/
maybe they could get "nerfed" so that you couldn't move them when they are full or something like that. I hope they stay the same.
Maybe they could tie it to total weight of chest plus contents vs your character's strength? And even then, let you empty out enough of the chest to move it based on your strength.
Items can still be dragged to / from a container, but not from vicinity to another vicinity space ( hard to explain, but you will be able to see it for yourself soon ) :)

Wondering about this too. How do you get a chest from inside your car back inside to your base cabin? Or are we simply going to have to run back and forth 500 times, between car+ chest inventory to drop it off inside our base cabins? Or - will the wheelbarrow replace everything in this case? How about even getting the damn candles etc to be actually placed on your table and not by your feet when you drop it from inventory ...etc etc etc ;P
There's both good and bad things removing this feature.
Hmmm on paper that sounds like a terrible idea but I guess we'll see!
