SCUM
This game need a thermal scopes
Please add thermal scopes , make them ultra rare but those kind of scopes would give everyplayer a chance against the campers. =\

Also we could use our fame points for other purposes like buy a drone area scans to tell us it there's some enemy around some point or buy a bypass of mechs for 5~7 seconds.

Also something that would be so cool is that a crafted granade that we can trow and make a loud sound to lure of puppets to enemy's positions or base.

Literally in every popular first person shooter, the two things that players complain about being over powered/annoying are grenade launchers and thermal scopes.

Hopefully the devs will take this years long pattern into consideration and not implement thermals to this game.

the addition of thermal scopes to EFT was a terrible idea, feels so cheap killing people.

Thermal scopes would totally destroy the gameplay. Therefore I am against and think that Thermal Scopes should not come into the game!

Hmm, I believe it was said we may have the ability to hijack mechs someday, perhaps have thermal vision or some type while you have control of it.

100% no! They trash games unless balanced EXTREMELY well.

it could work if the scope worked like real scopes do, if they had a range say 30 metres and it takes 2 to 4 seconds to see thru walls, so you have to stop and weigh up the risks with actually using it before using it, some of us like running in blind and just shoot anything we see.

and hopefully FLIR will never be added to scum

Question: "can a thermal scope see through walls?"

Answer:

"No, thermal cameras cannot see through walls, at least not like in the movies. Walls are generally thick enough—and insulated enough—to block any infrared radiation from the other side. If you point a thermal camera at a wall, it will detect heat from the wall , not what's behind it."

Fun fact: Wifi Cameras can see thru walls. They are used by the CIA and other organization's and prohibited to sell/buy. But you can find videos about them on YT.

There was also a Mystery case about a guy posting pictures on reddit. Can't find the video or reddit post though. He saw a black van in front of his house. He was sure they are watching him and want to kill him. On one picture the side door of the van was open and they had a huge camera thingy. According to the video i can not find or 100% remember right now the guy disappeared shortly after and the story way all over the news. As far as i know, at that time, the existence of Wifi cameras weren't publicly known at that time.

I can believe it. The CIA and NSA have technology that is not public knowledge. Some even go as far as saying it's possibly alien technology
