FPP vs TPP?

I was watching the older SCUM videos, and saw one that I really liked the idea behind. Showing the tactics skill, and how if you can't see a player/puppet in First Person Perspective, then you can't see it in Third Person Perspective. Well, as a FPP player all this time, I decided to see this for myself for myself. However, to me, it looked like I could see anything and everything in TPP, regardless of what was going on.

Was that removed to be worked on some more?

It only hides other players you wouldn't be able to see in FPV. It doesn't do it for puppets or mechs.

i only play in FPP when some one from my family is around because i character is crazy hot and sexy .......... and also i switched off the sensor thing

Unless that player is wearing a military quiver. You won't see the player but you will see the quiver and can aim appropriately.

Or has that been fixed?

TPV is like cheating. you can see everything and everyone much better than you would ever be able to see FPV or IRL
this game strives for realism but instead of disabling TPV they changed FPV to be more arcade and unrealistic.

I could write a list of unrealistic things and situations in scum. Sure, some things can and should be realistic in a video game but most won't be for the sake of gameplay, balance and good ol' fun.

And no, TPP in scum is not "like" cheating because it's an intended mechanic that every player can access and use.

I don't use it much and you don't use it ever (right?) But it's a part of the game and not going anywhere.

The players using TPP often or primarily are going to have a hard time in any serious PvP situation; that's their disadvantage.
