Gun Jamming system. Why would you implement such a bummer?
Hi Developers,

This latest gun jam system is running this game into the ground.
No fun for casual players...none.
Over and over and over again the guns get jammed and the players get killed.
Watching out for the best ammo, and best guns...and yes here we go again....Jammed weapon system in effect..every time again.
Walking for 10-15 minutes towards your location again because of this beauty...for the next encounter with this bummer.
Why fix something that ain't broken?
A very bad decision imho. Amazing.
Could you please remove this out of the game ?

here I can fire a bigass shotgun at point blank and if my target still stands it won't even interrupt their melee attack.
bullets don't have stopping power or any visible impact or effect and it feels like shooting a watergun. you either kill and drop your target or it will go full on without any interruption while soaking up bullets.
this is not how it works for melee is why guns suck so much at very close encounters.
jamming is fine. doesnt happen that often

Mattias and Terrain, do not accept & defend something that is not working the way it should, like some edgy fboys.

Of the f'n course I shouldn't be able to do that when 250 pound of rotten meat with armor is hitting me "face" to face.
But when I can't get my shell ready to fire when the big guy is FEW meters from me, That is a Problem, OR if I'm facing Away and still can't get my shotgun working, That is a Problem.

false. for some reason unless it's a skinny one it takes 2 shots to kill puppets now at a very close range unless headshot which is lately how you kill them with any gun anyway.

I meant when "up to face" and I despise you calling me a "fboy".

My "rudeness" was mainly for "Terran", for his attitude.

I just mentioned about something I find problematic, and I'm not the only one that feels so.
I used the word "close". As I said, I have no problem with not being able to load when someone is on my face.
Guns should never jam unless the gun or components are below 30% it actually feels like they jam so soon and so often simply to justify spending the development time on its implementation.

Two other side notes on this topic. The MK18 degradation is absolutely ridiculous, it needs reviewing and adjusting. Also the AS VAL jam rate is insane when it get to like 60% you may as well throw it away if you don't have access to a cleaning kit.

I've seen the MK 18 degrade fast, as well all the MG.

About the AS VAL, yes, it jams like the MP5, why wonder?

Not entirely true.
Just up from me a "neighbour" was shot at a distance of about 12 feet with a shotgun using buckshot. He died several days later due to his injuries.

My own rule in game: In bunkers, use shotgun and have a pistol ready when in close quarter.
Out in open (not sniping or hunting) any AK works fine, M16 and MK18 is often "overkill" and degrade faster than any AK.
;)
