"SCUM could not load your profile"

After last patch I can't start the game. I get this messages:

"SCUM could not load your profile"
and
"untrusted system file (C:/Windows/System32/BfLLP.dll)"

I verified game files in Steam library.....no change.

Any advice?

Same problem here.
Have no Killer network manager installed and restart, verify installation files and reinstalling did not help.
Please advise how to run the game

I am having this same issue and do not have the Killer Network Manager, have also verified the integrity of the files couple times and did what was shown in that YouTube video someone shared. So far nothing works?

Help please? This game looks awesome; the concept is amazing, but I cannot even get into it yet...

Hi! Did you played before or its your very first time? Game has wipe some time ago, so if you have some old characters they are not available now, you need to create new.

This is my first time. Have yet to make it into the game at all unfortunately...

I get as far as the anti-cheat finishing loading, then screen goes black with a window saying how it could not load my profile and to make sure Steam is running (which of course it is so?)

Make sure that steam isn't running in offline mode, check the game files integrity / verify files on steam and after that restart steam. Let us know if any of these helped.

try deleting your scum profile in your app data folder.

1. Press Windows key and R
2. type %appdata%
3. on the address bar click Local
4. navigate to scum and remove it. (you will lose all progress)

another few tips

Make sure scum is allowed through your firewall, you can add it manually.
Do the same for your antivirus

find scum.exe and right click.
click properties
navigate to the compatibility tab
tick run as administrator bla bla bla

you can also do a disk check to look for any bad sectors
right click on C drive for example then properties then tools

Something new: anytime I attempt to launch the game and it fails, if I restart my computer, I get a message from the Anti-Cheat saying I've had Game Violation #0000001, which seems pretty strange, considering I do not even use cheats, mods and trainers?

What is this violation and how do I fix it??

Best thing I think is get in touch with EAC themselves if anyone's gonna know it will be them
