Update game to server version issue.

not for me im online and everytime i connect i have to go threw the multiplay and start a new character

Basically, this type of problem has to do with people that don't understand, that these DEVS are constantly making changes to add items, balance puppets and sentries, make items/features that do not work, work. Since I have a rented server, my roomate has been spawning 100s of items. We have noticed them adding items, that at first do not work, or work incorrectly, and then next day, they become a spawn, and work perfectly. Their dedication to making the best survival game ever is epic. Let them do whatever they want to make this game better. Eventually, the wipes will be fewer and far between for those of us who want to explore what happens surviving over long periods of time. I love this game, and I hate having to start all over all the time, but I knew well before I bought it, that it would be problematic. $19 or $29? I would pay twice that in a heartbeat.

If you can't handle the game's instability, wait for the game to mature. What the devs need is feedback about what seems to be working vs what is not, and retesting everything after changes. The Desynch / FPS drop issues will continue for probably a long time. In more than 20 years playing online games, sometimes at a high level, I never saw an online game that did not have lag problems. I just roll with it because I have a great connection and ultimate rig. It's part of gaming.

official servers are actually not showing right now, which means they are in the process of being updated.

Strange my game version is matching the new patch build: 0.1.17.8572

But when i go into muli play and connect to a server even one i am admin on it says server version mismatch.

FFS people you want them to give you a heads up? THEY DID! They let us know they are at this very moment working on net code and server performance so this kind of thing can be expected. Would you expect to take your car on a roadtrip, WHILE a mechanic is diagnosing and fixing issues? I swear some people just dont get it... _._
