did the new update just now wipe all characters?

Sooo Im playing, i get connection lost assuming for the update just now. i click continue and i get connection lost every time. i go to my fav servers and go back to the one i was playing and i have a new character... true or bug?

Same here, it won't let me continue and brings me to the character create when I direct connect.

Same for me. It wouldn't be that farfetched to believe that the characters got wiped again due to some change in save state or certain codings. At this point we as the players/beta testers should be prepared for the character/server resets as they have stated that the server/character resets will be prone to happen as it is an early access game.

It's not just you, I got the same on 2 servers. It doesn't appear to be a wipe, because the character continue has a geared avatar, but yes, continue loses connection and connecting is a fresh character.

Im aware of the game state man, I just thought they would make it known at least it was going to be a wipe. otherwise i wouldnt have done so much last night :P oh well haha we move on, ty for confirming

I do not care about wipes, as long as i know, when they are going to happen. If i have to exeptc that on a daily basis from now on- without warning- i am kinda annoyed... I need some persistence.

My game updated now I cant join ANY servers... just says your game version must match the servers.

i wouldnt mind if it was a wipe it would be karma for the guy who spawned right in front of me while i was looting and killed me around 12 minutes ago >:)

Im not gona play this game just to have a wipe every fkn day... Its fun to have a fresh start a couple of times but not every day...
