thats what these forums are for- ask away, theres an abundance of experience here, and active devs.
Could make it so you have to clear a little dirt spot first with some tool, to keep from starting a forest fire (What's Croatian for Smokey the Bear?), or at least make it so that if you don't put it out before you leave, it could start one after you're gone. Then again, i spose a mechanic like that could be abused to heck in PvP- burn 'em out! hah!
And in your base structures, you could craft a wood stove or a fireplace or something. Which would be an improvement, cuz just staring at that fire burning right on my cabin's wood floor is kindof immersion breaking... lol!
From what Leva said in the last Q&A I assume that static fire will cause less trouble for the server. He said we will see zones of fire.
As in, forest fire events in specific locations, for specific periods of time? (that could be optimized better that way, i assume).
Puppets can't hop through 1-foot high windows, either.
Yet... mwuahahahahaaa!
It's completely safe. If you get wet you can also dry yourself and your equipment by the fire.
Assuming you build it inside out of the rain ;-P
Good point.
