For me just now it seems a little bit better for a while then it gets super laggy.

Found a vehicle too so leaving the city to find somewhere to hide it is gonna be painful.

You wouldn't happen to know where the Gun shop is would you? I was told there is one somewhere...

when i'm alone is playable, when with squad is laggy af, rest of map is ok, but did notice a few stutters since last 2 patches same as squad

lol i have friend who takes me to gunshop i still didn't learn city, but there is a stadium with lots of military gear with car park underneath and 1 suicide puppet normally

Gun shops are really worth it, especially if you can make 2-3 runs a day. It also helps that they are not so well protected compared to the military bunkers. There should be 3 gun shops in the big city, good luck with finding them !
