Remove patches.

Remove patches.

When fixing clothes it just looks so terrible to have all these out of place, reddish patches all over my nice camoflauge uniform.

Everyone else on our server hates it as well, just remove it please.

Having clothes worn down is alright but all these out of place patchings, looks terrible and really really sucks.

This is from the patch notes. Seriously, according to them we got the patterns from granny's sewing chest, probably under the "Holiday festive fun" drawer. And they look great on some of the gear, but you should probably really let your art department talk with whatever department doe research into the real world. NO ONE PATCHES THEIR DAMM GEAR LIKE THIS unless they are at a punk rock ban and think they will look edgy. There is a reason why so many people hate this addition! It is abysmal, both in implementation and in practice, where everything becomes a patchwork. It's completely overboard, mabey something went wrong, but seriousy after a single repair everything looks like hobo trash, and camo looks like it's designed to blend into a punk rock band and not the surrounding foliage.

Oh god this is dire! Please change the way this works, bright colours on camo are a truly dreadful idea.

My question is are we going to be able to find more clothing at 100%?? Even looting bunkers or wherever when you find clothing it's usually already damaged to some degree. So basically you will rarely ever have non patched clothes.

Really, thought it gave the game a nice er Realistic feel.. After all, You are a prisoner, on an island, hunted for entertainment.... Can't exactly go to the Q store for new stuff can you?
Or, maybe you can rip up an old camo shirt and use that?

Camo effect still works the same. Ghillie suit is in the making as well and will probably arrive soon.

Absolutely agree with you. It looks ridiculous and spoils immersion. I would go looking for another camo shirt or whatever, rip that up and use it for patching. I have no problem with being able to see the repairs but please stop putting white patches on my army helmet.

If we must look like ragdolls can I please wear my bright red coat and get the same benefit as my camo coat please?

PS My helmet, which has never been repaired has multicoloured patches on it. Bug?

Plus you have to repair your gear or it will have storage slots unavailable.. So looks like we're wearing patched up clothes.

With every patch someone steps up and claims how awful everything is.

Let's just add camo patches to the wishlist or make a suggestion thread for it.

I like the patches! Adds some flavor. As Faustus said this is just v1. In the future maybe they can incorporate using a second item to patch with (like a shirt or something which is destroyed in the process). That way you can choose your patch colors.

It is not like you don't have a point with the camo thing. But it would be nice for a change to see the fans cheering instead of moaning. Your glass is half empty. Okey. But it would be nice if you could add this into the suggestions or at least say something nice to it. There is so much negativity around and everyone has it's problems.

There are plenty of things I like about the patch, including the idea that clothes look as if they have been repaired. Noone is saying the patch is bad or wrong. What is being said is that these textures are bad enough that some feel the need to complain. Alpha is largely about getting feedback, here it is.
