Too much military loot
Reading some posts here I realized that miitary loot and guns are way too easy to find. Without mentioning that every sector have his own bunker.
Are you planning changing somethings about that?

Hmm what server are you playing? In some non-official servers admins can set loot for 5x and more (compared to official servers), so any loot is extremely easy to get.
Couple of patches ago whole loot, included military, was reduced by 50%.

I’m on an official server and I agree. After sever reset, in about 1hr I can get 10ish good guns,300 varying ammo, couple of assault or hiking packs and at least basic armour.

The civilian - military loot ratio needs to be changed a little, needs more civilian. I wish to see people using crafted and improvised weapons or pistols and some real garbage like the hunter22. I have never seen anyone use a bow and in 150 hours I’ve come across exactly 1 crafted shotgun. Also reduce the damn lock picks or rework fortifications. Even with traps bases are too easy to break into. I don’t even make my own I just break in and use theirs, till someone else breaks in a day or two later and we all play ring around the bases.

As for a suggestion military bases need more npc defences I.e ceiling and wall mounted mini turrets that you need to hack/shoot. To get into a military base you need to have at least something already to stop the places being filled with orange shorts.

I play on a private server that is "hardcore" i.e. 0.1x loot and 2x puppets. You are welcome to try for a bit more challenging gameplay.

We really can't judge the amount of military (or any, really) loot right now. They could nerf it again now, but if they reconfigure the puppets to jump through windows and open doors and increase their number (as I heard/read they were going to) they'll just have to up it again or every POI will be almost impossible to get through, much less loot. Until they get more of the core mechanics in (missions, etc.) we're not going to know. Plus, as teajay pointed out with his offer, private servers will spring up to cover people who want something different from the vanilla experience.

As it is now, if you're playing on a high pop/busy server loot is hard to find. On a low pop like the one I'm on it's easier. If you're finding too much for your tastes try a server that's got more people playing.

I think what you really wanted to say, was that they need to lessen the amount of rubber bands, scissors, and hair clips we can find in the game. I am starting to feel like I am on a abandoned island with a missing society of hairdressers.

I do agree there should be more civi gear, like hiking/backpacking gear. As for weapons, I think there is a decent balance at the moment. However, I think military gear should be reserved for barracks/training areas, where appropriate.

I noticed that i play against army all the time ! no pistol shootouts on streets , where people wear hoodies or jeans ... they after start go straight to bunkers ! the Army everywhere .... night visions , helmets , camo stuff ... AK47 / M16 ... ! too much bunkers in map , just too much ! for who in game have self made weapon ? tons of melee weapons ! for fight against dumb puppets ?

They need mechs to be harder and squads of npcs defending bunkers and military areas, make them a lot harder to access. Currently when playing I'm just running in and out of them all the time and rarely getting hurt.

Maybe give mechs more random routes to walk and maybe have some mechs walking outside of the bunkers and military areas also. The prison has them outside, so the bunkers and other areas could too.

Exactly what I mean, bunkers and high military loot areas must be unaccessible or at least very very challenging an difficult for fresh spawns.

yes indeed there is too much military places.
Even on full servers i can get geared easy, there is no thrill in constantly fighting fully geared against geared people, having a weapon with alot of bullets should be "like you earned" something.

IDK if you are a dev or not, but Please do replace the military places with more villages or farms and instead put weapon spawns in towns, i mean its good and all, but 90% of people skip towns just to loot military locations.
Having bamby fights is what makes the most of survival games fun, its not fun fighting fully geared people all the time it gets boring fast, having some diversity would be more fun , i mean why not just have an loadout like in arma 3 when every one has a full military gear anyways.

Careful what you ask for. Making NPCs hard in a multiplayer game simply pushes people away, thinning the player base. The loot is going to get looted no matter how hard you make NPCs until they are buffed so much that it is game breaking.

NPC difficulty is not the solution to loot balance.

Im not only talking about the loot, im talking about the locations too. They are way too many and easy to get. If you want people to feel the lost of the gear you have to make some things hard, make less military pois or make military pois harder to get.

Right now I dont care If i die. I dont have that sense of caution all the time becasue if I die, I can get to the nearest bunkers and gear in no time

Reduce the number of military places.
For a survial game there is just too much military grade loot, to be precise there is too much military places where the loot originates from.
Devs please cut the 90% of the military bunkers from the map, and replace them with farm, villages, etc.
Im tired of fighting geared people 0/24 while being fully geared aswell.
There is no difference between having a loadout or spending half an hour at top to get geared, even on full servers.

Maybe is necessary to make some player progression. For example: you don't have access to certain parts of the map and gear until you reach a requiered level of experience or fame point. This could make the player feel some sense of achievement, and you find players with the same level of you. And if you see a player with military vest you can say "oh this guy has worked hard to get that vest and rifles". Is a matter of "grade" like the army: soldier, sargent, colonel, etc...
In addition you can obligate the player to gear 100% survival and hunting stuff at the very beginning.

They just need to drop the percentage of military loot spawn.

If they lessen military POIs then the geared players camp them.
