There is a functioning electricity in the game. It takes a bit of messing around to get working. But you have to have the skill to upgrade a object, For this example a refrigerator. You also need a generator. To fuel the generator you need a smaller container of fuel and put it into the fuel generator, Which is craftable with the right skills or stats. There is also a chance of finding one. From there you put the fuel in and turn on the generator. Go to the upgrade refrigerator and then open it's inventory. You should see a plug, Click that and there will be a powered icon in the inventory slot. Turn on fridge. You can now prevent food decay when a item is placed inside it. This applies to other appliances also. But I will let people figure out the rest :P
Yeah but i ment like light bulbs traps turrets etc

I’m gonna need some proof on that. Hundred hours or so and never found fuel/generators and there are no crafting options in the menus for that.

Oh, Crap. Sorry. Wrong discussion/Forum. For some reason I thought I was in a discussion for another game that I am very active on the forums with. The system for electrical stuff is very confusing for that game so I just answered the question out of habit. I'll delete my previous comment.
