Do you have Logitech gaming software installed ? I just browsed a couple of forums mentioning the backlight not working on Logitech keyboards or mouse , and they all end up with " please contact Logitech support since it could be a hardware problem ".

In the News about this update, it looks like you're using a G710s? Maybe that has more functionality than lesser models? My G510s's backlight turns off in the EA warning window and remains off for the whole time I'm playing, but comes back on again after quitting SCUM. I also noticed that after taking fall damage, the backlight flashes to notify me I have been hurt. I never noticed if taking bullet/puppet damage does the same (I was too distracted by those dangers to notice). If I press keys to change the color of my backlight, it comes back on and stays on until I access the SCUM menu again.

Also, just curious, but any plans to add extra info for the little gaming keyboard screens? Like CroTeam did with The Talos Principle (tells you world/puzzle info). Maybe SCUM could show calories and/or number of online squad mates, etc.?

I personally wish you guys had added another color maybe white or something to the inactive keys I play in the dark so it’s tough to see what’s on the right side

Hi guys. I have a Logitech G19 keyboard and the retroillumination doesn't work. If I press the key for activating the illumnation, only the display and the M1 key lights up.
Anybody else have this problem?

I have the G910 and my problem is the same In game the entire keyboard illumination goes out completely but the entire keyboard flashes when taking damage in game. The illumination button does nothing in game. I found it! . Its in the "Logitech Gaming software" , Click on the Gear Icon on the bottom then under the tab General ,uncheck "allow games to control illumination"

Please, is there any chance to add option at least? I don't want to change any software settings. I bought illuminated keyboard because I like to play without any lamp turned on.

And it would be great if LCD would be supported. No advantage, just some info like heartbeat.. I don't know.

But dark keyboard is hell!

Edit: I don't believe I'm the only one.

Okay so after a lil digging I figured it out.

1)open G-Hub
2)top center of your screen(if you haven't renamed it) there should be blue text that reads "DESKTOP Default" - Click it
3) Under Games& Applications Disable the game that's not turning the keyboard lights on.

Personally, I disabled all of them so it doesn't mess with anything.

Let me know if this helped,
