What needs to change about the mechs is how they react to gun fire, in ruins pvp at military points of interest. Mechs should react to sight, puppets to gunfire.
Agree 100%. Mechs ruin PvP in high interest areas.
OP - Git Gud Skrub <3
My suggestion, for what its worth.
Use your head, there are plenty of indicators to let you know where they are. Jog, don't run unless detected. watch for their head light. listen to their location/direction. Their pattern is repeated, just plan accordingly. If it looks too tough to go the way you're planning, change your strategy.
It may seem like I'm giving you a hard time but the game is meant to be difficult
I just rented a server. went with a 20 slot and low loot spawn, so resources could be put on puppets and mech both have 3x damage and I raised their spawn numbers. have to adjust the mechs numbers because they cross paths and get stuck on each other. the puppets if your not careful will get a group of 8 - 10 chasing you.and if you do kill them more just keep coming, it's great ;)
I want this game to be more hardcore, I want less loot, I want more weapon damage. What most people in gaming don't want, is player to player interaction altered by NPCs in a significant way. You are wrong dude. You are another example of someone with their gameplay style in mind, and not the health of the overall community, there is a lot of that on this forum.
Don't remove mechs, make them more deadly by sight, but a NPC that reacts to gunfire and has weapons ruins PVP. The uncommon/unpredictable PVP is part of what makes scum shine, the mechs ruin this.
5xpuppet damage and 2xSentry damage. 6-600 event gap.
High loot areas should be hard.
The easiest are bootcamp, b3 bunker, b4 bunker, a4 bunker, d1 bunker.
The rest i left alone
actually, if I had my gameplay style in mind I would be the op. I suck at gaming, I love it but suck.
but the pvp isn't being altered by the npc it's being created by them. these are the new rules for pvp in scum, it's new and different but we have to adapt.
what the difference between the puppets reacting to sound and the mechs? it's harder? that's what the devs want, a hardcore survival game that you really have to think about every action.
at least that what I get from all the info I can find.
we set the loot to barely spawn and keep increasing the puppets until we see a performance hit.
ps just change to 5x on puppets not going to tell anyone see if they can tell
The difference is the mechs have guns and high dps. Devs can make things harder without ruining the PVP aspect.
