Cargo drops loot change + other bugs
On our private server people have been reporting cargo drops after the update being completely empty or just containing only a few loot items - I can personally say that one drop I visited had one Hunter 55, recurve bow, SVD clip and a knife, nothing else. Seems kind of random. Another person reported there being a hat and a backpack in one drop.

Also another bugs regarding cargo drops currently are: no signal smoke and no beeping sound when it's about to explode.

Are the old cargo drop loot tables gone? Is this change affected by our server's 0.1x loot rate? Would cargo drops be full of good loot with 5x loot setting?

We will fix those issues, the reason we made the cargo drop have a longer cooldown for dropping was to make cargos more exclusive and that coincides with the time it takes to fall down since the notification (10 minutes) so people have more time to get there and instigate fighting and PvP. But definitely the green smoke and loot is bugged at the moment, sorry for any inconveniences, one of the things that will be going into a fix patch as soon as we can.

I also checked this bug on my SOUTH AMERICAN ISLAND server. The drops are no longer giving items as before the upgrade. Now comes almost nothing of items.

the low loot rate generate in cargo drops is due to it being a 0.1x server. you will have to boost the loot rate in order to get more loot in cargo drops.

The cargo drops always had a set amount of loot in them, each locker was full of items.
Maybe its a bug or intended nerf to the loot. They also increased the time between drops... one every hour now (on official servers anyway)

I just had a Cargo Drop on an official server with nothing but one single, empty 9mm handgun clip... which is awesome. They were too much of a gift horse anyway. Also, no green smoke. If you don't see it as it's falling, it's WAY harder to find now. Also a good thing, if you ask me.

Seems kind of average to me...

My first cargo drop loot had a few more items including shotgun ammo that came in handy scaring a player off that surprised me when I turned around to exit and he was there... I just pointed it at him and said "backup! really slow..." And he ran! haha

Since that first time the drops haven't had that many items (December last year) though, I don't beeline it to them that often, when I do play.

The more random items the better though I feel.

As long as reasonable quality.

The "beeline" and potential firefight/camp'n'kill with others has to be worth it. Afterall.

anyone else having cargo drops that you cannot see as they fall to the ground and do not display green smoke?

I had one tonight without the smoke or flare, and empty. I was able to watch it drop, however.

I just went to a loot drop on a public server, and every cabinet was empty. I got there first. It was unlooted. I was waiting as it rode down on parachutes.

No dev reply? Is this a intended change or a mistake?

I didnt think the loot settings were tied to cargo drops, they were always full of stuff.
even the zombie-filled drop had 2 storage in the back with loot now.

anyways, you all are constantly asking here for less loot, everything harder harder harder, look at the military loot u complained it was way too easy too much at bases, now u go thru the whole AF and get 3 9mm rounds. good job is that what u wanted? u got it!

Why ?
Why did u change the cargo drops so drastically

It was the one event that could bring people together, now it's not worth the effort to go to these, before u could have some PVP as u knew people would be wanting to check them

Not only did u make them once an hour, you removed the green smoke which was cool and removed everything u find, i just been to one and found a SVD mag and a knife, the previous one had 6 shotgun shells

It would of been better to leave these as is and have them drop slower to the ground so players in cars and on foot could reach them more or less together and get some action

Don't understand what you did here, well i go back to shooting puppets and birds and not have the chance to plan any strategy

I don't even remember anyone complaining about them it was one thing we had that happened on the map ?

And BTW the other thing on the map we could do, shoot the targets at the firing range like in the teaser trailer, they haven't moved in over 4 months, it was said they would return when servers were more stable
