The cargo drops always had a set amount of loot in them, each locker was full of items.
Maybe its a bug or intended nerf to the loot. They also increased the time between drops... one every hour now (on official servers anyway)
My first cargo drop loot had a few more items including shotgun ammo that came in handy scaring a player off that surprised me when I turned around to exit and he was there... I just pointed it at him and said "backup! really slow..." And he ran! haha
Since that first time the drops haven't had that many items (December last year) though, I don't beeline it to them that often, when I do play.
The more random items the better though I feel.
As long as reasonable quality.
The "beeline" and potential firefight/camp'n'kill with others has to be worth it. Afterall.

even the zombie-filled drop had 2 storage in the back with loot now.
anyways, you all are constantly asking here for less loot, everything harder harder harder, look at the military loot u complained it was way too easy too much at bases, now u go thru the whole AF and get 3 9mm rounds. good job is that what u wanted? u got it!
It was the one event that could bring people together, now it's not worth the effort to go to these, before u could have some PVP as u knew people would be wanting to check them
Not only did u make them once an hour, you removed the green smoke which was cool and removed everything u find, i just been to one and found a SVD mag and a knife, the previous one had 6 shotgun shells
It would of been better to leave these as is and have them drop slower to the ground so players in cars and on foot could reach them more or less together and get some action
Don't understand what you did here, well i go back to shooting puppets and birds and not have the chance to plan any strategy
I don't even remember anyone complaining about them it was one thing we had that happened on the map ?
And BTW the other thing on the map we could do, shoot the targets at the firing range like in the teaser trailer, they haven't moved in over 4 months, it was said they would return when servers were more stable
