Lockpicking w/video
Hello fellow scumbags! I recently started playing scum after some time off. I read about picklocking getting nerfed twice and decided to give it a try, the past two weeks I've raided at least 95% of my server easily, going sector by sector, on average I get more lockpick than I use.

I uploaded some picklocking scenes for you, I rarely use over 30 lockpick for 3 locks. Easy peasy

Watch the other videos on my channel, some doors opens with less than 10 lockpick, it's too easy once you understand the mathematic process of increasing your odds

Some, even rudimental, first attempt of trap or alarm should raise on the to do list imo.

This is very good that you post this here!
The Devs must understand- the time that people spend to make 3 golden door locks-600 FP- is much more than 6:54 minutes that you spend to open the dore. MANY players stop playing , cause they need to create a new char , for farming FP.
Its no way to recieve a FP, after you have a maximum skills, this so stupid....
Please Devs, untie the FP from the locks, and make the locks more difficult. If we spend 60 minutes for 2 locks, it must be a 120 minutes to broke them....

Then you might kill yourself and come back then. 700 FP + Loot + Time vs. 100 FP and a Respawn max. This wouldn't solve anything.

I mostly appreciate all your posts, but sincerely couldnt understand this last Faustus.

If you put an alarm beside your 3 gold, with some mechanism that trigger it if picker fail something, he probably will be induced to run away if the alarm spring

And in a little more serious tone...can you also provide a video of how easy it is to pick locks when there's someone shooting at you?

This is one thing that really needs to be improved. Currently it is very easy to find items and raid the bases. I think they should make a new system with code locks. Maybe you could have a simple code lock (with 3 digits), a medium with 4 digits and an advanced with 5 digits, something like that. And think of a new way to raid the bases from this new system. Maybe hacking the code locks, exploding, (...) I do not know, but this really needs to be improved.

Whats your skill level in game and how much time did it take to get 4-5 screwdrivers?
Playing full server? Off hours raids? Whats up?
2 weeks is a long time.
A horde that size behind 2 doors is a classically bad idea. (with 1 window cover?)
Watching this wont prevent people from stashing lockpicks will it =D but it should.
This is basically exactly how it should go and it did.

FFS! Please do something about lockpicking, that is worse than it was!! 5 mins for 5 gold locks... should be a lot, LOT harder than that.

Finally, someone posts evidence of how easy it is to lockpick.
Needs ANOTHER major nerf.
If it takes hours to get the FP to lock the door, it NEEDS to take hours to pick that lock.

Yo andreas my friend we both know only too well how easy it is to crack door locks. The system is just poorly implemented by the developers. Maybe it can never be balanced. And there definitely should be raid times like in conan exiles.

I think if you spend X minutes to farm FP for one gold lock, it must be a 2X minutes minimum, to unlock him

Not really, if you play in the middle of the night and no one is online that does not help.

Agreed, same with traps, traps could maybe slow one person down, but not a squad. 5 number digit code would be impossible to break, any minigame have loopholes in it, best would be basebuilding where you have to physically destroy the walls/doors, sledgehammer for hours or so
