no footstep audio in left headphone

So i noticed this weird problem today, i can hear audio on both headphones but i can only hear footsteps in my right headphone, none from the left one and i don't know why, i can still hear my backpack and other sounds just not footsteps, i tried changing audio and checking my headphone settings but everything is fine and works in other games, just posted here just to see if anyone could help, thanks for any info

Did you try a restart of the game client itself?
It could be a weird one-off bug that disappears with a restart.

yea no luck atm, its really weird man, i think its only footsteps i cant hear in the left ear, i can hear the sound of the backpack and animals etc but not footsteps

Is your audio set to stereo or surround sound? Also, if you have surround sound, even virtual, having certain speakers setup or selected can change it too - like if you're using the Realtek HD Audio Manager.

I do think it has to do with your sound setup. If you have headphones that support surround sound, voices use the center speaker which stereo doesn't have. What kind of headphones are you using?

If your headphones don't have an audio program all I can think of is realtek helping with the issue.
