repairing armor

I like the fact that you can now repair many items, but as far as armor, and potentially other items I have a suggestion.

It doesn't really make any real world sense to be able to repair body armor with just a tool kit. Either these armors have metal/ceramic trauma plates or Kevlar or both, and you would need materials to do a real repair.

Now that military puppets drop armor, getting armor is easier now, but once you have armor, it is kinda pointless. Perhaps to repair armor would require utilizing material from dropped armor instead of just using a repair kit might be a good idea.

This idea could extend to other items as well.

I agree, but currently we have other priorities we have to finish before expanding on that feature. Toolbox is just a placeholder for other possible repair items at the moment.

Same could be done with firearms. I keep finding low durability weapons. It would be cool if I could part them out and use the good parts to refurbish my own.

Hey bunny thanks for the really kick a$s game question can the armor tactical vest which can only seem be found on puppets but only under 20% durability be found any where else

All items found on puppets can be looted in the environment as well ( more often in quite better condition ). Clothing items found on puppets can only be repaired to 50 % durability.
