ATM Scum is illuminated by global lighting wich doesn't have the best quality but is performance friendly. To achieve a better interior light quality all building'S/cave's in the game would need to have post processing volumes with seperate light setting's added to the building's. Not 100% sure if this can be done global like editing furniture (edit one building and all buildings of this type will have the change). It's possible that this is a big task. Eventually. I'd say. Maybe devs can confirm/deny if this will be added. Probably depend's on how far general world design had come (New POI's etc.)
BUT i remember that i have read in the diary that building's will have more veriaty. Maybe this also means that they get their own volumes..
Bunny? ^^
And how are you guys planning on tackling this problem?
So is it more like it would be possible to do and turn in on by force - but then the forum would be full of people complaining that you need a 8k$ PC to play?
Yes exactly like that.
If we could lower hud opacity or brightness it would help coz looking at menu or even hud in lower left corner then back to dark screen, ♥♥♥♥♥ you eye adjustment to the darkness. Turning Hud off completely is not the answer coz it stops you from being able to go things and the menu/inventory well still be too bright.
Maybe NVG could be further nerfed. best idea for this is to make them require a specific battery that is rare. Obviously Modern tech like that can be recharged but you could make them one time use. once they drain, they are dead.
Speaking of recharging things.. Why are the streetlights on but no houses have power, to turn on lights etc, or cook meat in ovens. Streetlights may as well be removed leaving only Tec areas with mechs the only places that have ambient lighting. Maybe if you find the right cable (very rare) you can rechage your nvg battery in these locations but it shoul require you to leave it in an area a mech passes by for about an hour. So no leaving it to charge and logging off coz it will be gone.
