No base will be 100 % safe, because that beats the purpose of the game, you will however get more means of protecting yourself and your loot.

I don't understand this excitement about raids - especially since they're part of the game...
Maybe check in future if there are at least Serveroptions to adapt the game to solo PVEvp gameplay.
Yeah, stashing vehicles in bushes and heavily wooded terrain seems to work. In the past it worked a treat for me at least.
One thing I would like to see in the game is heatsignatures for vehicles cooling down after use with NVGs being able to see them. Not sure if this is current at all, haven't owned NVGs for a while.
Well even if you made the "Lockpicking" more difficult there would be bombs and shotgun to get through the palisades .. so what would change? Loot is just not safe - that's just the way it is. So every raid option would drive out players, but I have to say that it is clearly the wrong game for such players.
I have friends that jumps in getting geared from boxes and wants to go pvp but dont want putting in the work to actually look for the loot and bringing it back to base and end Up going back to arma3 or some other shooter
ppl quit the game because they get raided maybe they need a break to cool of and come back later aswell.
I have had bases raided aswell on eu official server 1 and 10 in the past but i Also learned alot of how to protect the base better, things like locations matter. Some build a base close to a main road for easy access but everyone can see it of in an open field instead of conceling it in the Forrest. The amout of Gold locks and layers of wall mattes...
But of course with the introduction of toolboxes it now has become harder to maintain and therefor defend a big base. Let the Devs try things out, look how far they have come and how polished and playable it looks in such a Little time.
(Sorry for caps in wrong places and letters out in place but im writing from cellphone and it tries to go back to my native language)
That's the point of the game. You survive until you.. don't.
Create a base that you'll be able to defend to the best of your abilities.
And if you get raided, rebuild and get better!
"The Perfect Base" should be a player design, not a developer setting.
