Lost Vehicle with Loot.... Found it again !!
Got randomly disconnected from a server 4-5 hours ago while driving a SUV full of loot.
I managed to connect again straight way, but I spawned on foot with no SUV in sight (but in the right location). Ran around for a while, mainly back tracked the way I came to see if I could find it... not a thing.

So I continued to to play and forgot about it, logged in and out a few times....Then about 30mins ago I found myself driving on the same road as I was before and came across a another SUV... same red color as the one I lost earlier... and yup... it was full of loot... the same loot I lost.

The SUV was about 100m behind the location from where I disconnected... an area I checked when I first rejoined. It seems the one I lost re-appeared at a later time for some reason.

Is the whole problem of missing chests and SUV's something more to do with the new loot/object handling code than the actual objects themselves?

I don't know but hopefully I will find car too, I left my suv nearby my shelter but when I login (after 1-2hours offline) car wasn't there anymore...

Anyway DEV should fix that to make possible hide car anywhere you want, even in the cave (if it fits the enter of course) and stays there until another player finds it

Funny thing for me was, my vehicles stayed where I parked them before the hotfix. It was only after the hotfix they kept disappearing.

Yesterday I lost my car as well with all loot. Problem was falling in texture near gas station (95066.4316 -760713.4827 0). I can't find it, neither do I know if I actually can recover it? Is there any way to find it?

Hey there OP, that will happen on occasions if you get disconnected from the server, the reason for that is that the vehicle retains it's momentum and continues a bit further than you disconnected. If this was the server restart vehicle would be in the same position as you disconnected from.
