Snow / Rain for an hour?

It started snowing ~25 mins before server reset and it is raining / snowing for 40 minutes straight now. That's too long, especially if you travel by foot. As much as I like weather effects this actually makes me want to log of and watch an episode of some series until it's over :/ . Maybe devs can look into the duration of rain / snow . Thx.

Maybe weather effect's could be reduced to 5-15 minutes.

Around 40 mins to 1 hour should be max for special weather conditions, so you should be fine in 20 mins time ( maybe even sooner ). The weather is quite randomized on the Island, but with a guarantee of clear weather period after every rain / snow.

The duration of rain is annoying. 30 minutes max would be bearable but it seems like when it rains, it's guaranteed to last at least 60. It also seems to be every day in game time. That's too frequent IMHO.

The problem is: if you log in and want to do something by foot, you're nailed. Gear soaks water and your gear starts to get heavier and you are slowed down. If you do not have anything to organize - what are you going to do? The duration is too long.

It lasts too long if you ask me. The penalty (gear soaks water and you get slowed down) is fine but if you are traveling by foot the duration is too long. Rather make the penalty more severe, so that you are forced to find a shelter or die / get severly injured. But lower that duration please.

You don’t need a lot of gear to get food. Nor do you need to acquire tons of food in order to get through a rainstorm. If you just need some mushrooms and fruit, try doing a brief gathering run in minimal clothes and a small backpack. Then warm up next to a fire while drying out the few articles that got wet.

+ Rain lasts too long. And raining twice in one night. :(

i wouldnt say too long, just too often.
Reduce the rain chance by 50% and all is fine in my opinion.

As said, you can adapt by making other stuff in your base. And this means it should happen rarer but can stay (as we have it) a longer time.
