appeared to be in the middle of event- cargo assult Veliki Tabor

I was looting houses in Veliki Tabor (a big village in the east of the map) when I saw a cargo drop falling down on parachutes. At first I thought that I missed the cargo drop message and dashed to the cargo in the middle of the village as I thought I was the only player in the village.
Suddenly, someone started to fire at other player so I got to the roof of the police station and watched the whole fight. There was no force field around the village, the cargo smoke changed the color from red to blue when players came to it, I checked the event window and saw that the cargo assult was taking place in Veliki Tabor with 2 players so, after some time, I fired at some guy and he shot me with return fire.
How the hell could I appear in the middle of the event not joining the event itself? I entered the village and there was no force field, nothing stopped me from entering the event area. And surely, I've told people on a server about it and nobody believed me.

Dear devs, could you check this out and If possible( joking) bring my loot back.

Seems very possible this does happen that the event merges with the real map. I have noticed that before, after an event is over I get dumped off at the event location instead of my original location before joining.
