Not able to search body under the water!

I dead underwater at A4 (submarine base) and respawn again and come back there to collect my gear back but under water i press F to search but nothing happen... right click chose search option but the same. Anyone know about that, pls help

Anyone know how long the body will be disappear, do i get back my gear after the body disappear or my gears will disappear together with the body. Anyone know please help!!!

Well by now you either solved it or lost your gear. But for future, after about 20-30 mins your body despawns and for another 20 minutes or so, your gear is lying there. Getting just your gear is possible under water but not certain.

Thanks for your support. I came back after 20 minutes then everything just disappeared mean i lost all my remain cloths, guns and everything in them. LOL. Luckly i was take off my backbag underwater befor i die ( i thought that cause my over weight ) then i come back and it still there that the only one i could take back.
So my experience is that when ever you prepare die underwater you must take off everything you could out of your body then you will can take back your gear after respawn.

Yeah dont try to get it while you're above the water and loot is below. If you can get under the water with the loot its easier. Try going first person if ya cant get underwater with it. Iys kinda wonkey atm but im sure it will be fixed in the future.

I came across this thread in my attempt to find a solution for a similar problem that occurred when my character died in the city water canal today. My character's dead body was completely submerged in shallow water. Like the OP, the search option was not available, only "drink". However, when I squatted down in 3rd person next to the dead body, and looked up at the sky, the game camera was submerged in the water looking up at the sky. This camera perspective allowed the search option to become available, thus permitting me to recover all my gear. I hope this helps someone. Happy gaming!

I drowned once and was lucky to be able to reach my body and "search" then ran up stream and floated again and hit tab and equip everything on a few passes

It would be good to be able to off or allow the ability to see past the option to drink water, that's what blocks you from aiming for the body in shallow water you can't dive into. Sometimes you can angle your view so you can just see under the top of the water, it gets a little stupid sometimes though. Why is drinking sea water even an option lol -_-

I killed a bear in the water and could not reach him, only "drink" I got a 2h ax and it chops downwards and was able to click "Chop" done the same with items, if you get at a low angle you can see under water a tad as well
