Character Creation?

Well this game so far looks interesting but they tout " unprecedented levels of character customization" on the store page.

"SCUM aims to evolve the multiplayer open world survival game with unprecedented levels of character customization, control and progression, where knowledge and skills are the ultimate weapons for long-term survival. Combining the methodical planning and management of hardcore survival with optional PvP ‘network events’ available to everyone at anytime, SCUM strikes a unique balance between complex simulation and intense action in the next generation of survival game. "

I realize that this is still in early development so perhaps the Devs will give us more options for customizing our toons. but as for now there are more games with more options for creating our characters. don't have much time logged into this title but so far apart from that this seems like an interesting open world / survival game.

They are creating cars and fortifications now . Character customization is on their list , why so Impatient , jesus ...

it was just a question really lol i only got the game a few hours ago. game looked interesting and fun so i bought it...

To be fair, I think they're including the evolution of your character in-game. There's only so much cutomization to do in the character creation screen, but how you play and what you choose to do with your character will also "customize" your character. It's not possible to MAX all your stats in character creation, but over time, you should be able to "level up" (or down) all those attributes through gameplay. It's not implemented yet, but I assume we will be able to gain MORE strength attribute by working out in game, or REDUCE our dexterity by eating nothing but fatty foods and gaining weight (this is already in game), etc.

It's all technically stuff that "customizes" your character over time and use.

yeah i get that im not wanting to max my stats but change things like my characters country of origin, what they look like and such.

yeah i get that im not wanting to max my stats but change things like my characters country of origin, what they look like and such.

Ohhhhh... yeah, changing those type details would be nice. Even if we could select our "crime" from a list. That would be cool too.

The character customization is far from finished and it will be expanded by a large margin in the future. Female characters are coming to the game, in the future we plan to add more tattoo variations, addictions, criminal records, facial hair , etc.
