SCUM
Naval Base - Too Risky
Is it just me or is the time it takes to get across to this area not worth the effort ? what i mean is it's more like a Mech Factory than a Naval Base, and for the loot u get not many people are visiting this area

Maybe take away 1 Mech above & below the ground, also there's not really much underground imo

I love new areas to explore but once you've seen it it's just too risky to visit again and too far away, hopefully once the rest of the POI's and deeper caves are added the larger areas of the map will start to become more connected, instead of just the 2 middle sectors

This would be a great area for some battles and PVP but the amount of Mechs there make it a pain

What's your thoughts guys how could this base be improved ?

MS, are you joking right?

How much time have you played till now?

Naval base is quite literally the easier POI to infiltrate!!!

Mech are dumb, inaccurate, predicable and quite deaf.
Not to say they are on plain sight in Naval differently to some bunker where sometime hidden by vegetation or conformation of terrain.
Just take two minutes to study their path then all will become even too much simple.

I like the naval base. Good loot and easy to avoid mechs just the underground part isn´t worth it imo.

A lot more mechs and zombies.
Seriously, the base seems like a super market to me. On one side I can get directly into the underground submarine bunker without even the slightest contact with zombies or mechs. Inside it's just a question of timing (and observation) and I can plunder every box there without attracting attention.

To the 6 really worthwhile semicircular halls and the accommodations in their proximity it goes along the shooting range. Nothing really disturbs my shopping tour here either (ok, while looting some zombies growl in front of the halls, but with Meele weapons they don't pose a problem and they don't attract any more).

With the jetties and the docks themselves it is the first time a bit tricky if you really want to rummage through every single building and every single box. But the bottom line is no real challenge when you sneak around and watch the timing of the mechs.

all in all, the harbour is less strenuous than shopping just before Christmas ;-)

to be honest with the actual drop rate , its not worth going there-- i made my way there from the airfield, took me a while..., once there it was easy to get inside of the whole base (to easy) ,found no gun no ammo nothing worth going there ..soo my thought about the naval base , its totaly not worth it!

Funny, I always find there at least one AK, 2 magazines and a small box of ammo as well as a few single shots. In addition a Dragunov or the rifle scope for the Dragunov and always at least 2 magazines and about 40 rounds for it. Five to six pistols of different caliebers (unfortunately not always the matching magazines), blasting and smoke grenades, MRE, cans with soft drinks, dressing material, tool boxes (large and small), uniforms in different camouflage patterns and at least one backpack (unfortunately there seems to be only very rarely the really big one).

All in all I usually leave the harbour totally overloaded. One reason why I hid several boxes in the vicinity.

Whereby, maybe you were right after me in the harbour, that would explain your bad luck ;-)

The first time I went into the underground portion of the naval base I did not know about the hatches for getting in. I timed the mechs, running behind them and then hiding behind the storage containers/metal shacks on each side waiting to "pick up" the next mech to follow deeper in. I actually had no clue how long a run it was to get all the way in or even what I would find once there. I have to say it was truly the most scared I have been in this game so far. Making it all the way in on the first try without dying provided a nice sense of accomplishment, even if I got crap for loot. :p If you haven't done it, I recommend at least once running in through the main entrance tunnel, just for the thrill factor. ; )

PS Do it solo and with no distractions to the mechs!

I mostly play SP (for testing) and otherwise I choose an MP server with reasonable ping and some players. I don't like the high pop servers with their bad ping.
