SCUM
Whats the average fps you guys get at high/med setting.
I want to know how optimized it is as an early access game before i buy it. You guys don't need to specify your specs at all but it would help to get a general idea of what the game best runs at.

My specs :

⚫ I7-7700 @ 3.60GHz Overclocked to roughly 4.0/4.1Ghz

⚫ GTX 1060 3GB

⚫ 16 GB Ram

Does lowering the foliage quality make it easier for you to spot people? I know that is a thing in some multiplayer games.

I7 6700k @4.6
1080Ti
16gb Ram
SSD

On a ultrawide 21:9
3440x1440

l get 45 to 60 fps with all maxed out (each setting at max value possible)

In my experience the settings that affect fps somehow are

Render resolution (hugely)
Texture quality (fairly)

2 x Strix 1080 SLI Overclocked
16gb Ram
SSD

On a ultrawide 21:9
3440x1440
Ultra settings (only lowered to 60 render resolution)

Average 60 FPS (sometimes, depending the map zone and number of players: 80 FPS)

i7 8750
nvidia 1060 6gb vram
8gb ddr4 2600mhz ram

Everything at the lowest quality = 60 fps at 1080p

Ryzen 2600x @ 4,2 ghz
16 GB DDR4 RAM
GTX 1080

Around 90 FPS with everything on max in 1080p on the average.
But can fluctuate quiet a bit.

Turning shadow precision to lowest makes it easier to spot people.

Your FPS should be fine. Pretty well optimised at this point at least for me.

all high settings apart from shadow precision 60-90 FPS

Check this thread.
So basically you would be putting your graphics card in maximum overdrive to work harder? Feels like that would just decrease its life and break down faster in my opinion. I'm still new to computers so don't mind me if i say something stupid.
Also everyone thank you for your input so far.
