Hunting camp at C-2

Hey guys,
is there a trick to get to that island in the lake at C-2?
I go in the water, than my avatar starts swimming but after a few seconds, he starts diving and whatever i do, i cant swimm up to the surface and than i die.
I tryed with my gear on and i tryed without any gear, same result...i die :(

No gear , no clothes you can swim out. It has a few military boxes but you cant bring any of it back :D Maybe wait for a little raft/boat to be added. I guess thats how it will be done.

Ah, i left my clothes always on *facepalm*

remove all your gear or you you will be too heavy swim. There is nothing much over there which is a bit boring. I hoping for something cool. like a secret tunnel/bunker. I killed a Zombie and had a bbq :)
